About
I'm a law student at Berkeley Law focusing on the intersection of law and technology
I was born and grew up in Sieradz, Poland. At 14, I moved to East Troy, Wisconsin, where I attended high school. Upon my graduation I moved to Madison which became my home for the next 8 years. In Madison I completed a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Polish. During my time as a badger, I had the opportunity to explore many of my interests, from foreign languages, through philosophy to hard sciences. I became involved in many organizations, and I worked across a wide spectrum of jobs.
After obtaining my undegraduate degree I began working for Epic, an Electronic Healthcare Record company. For 2.5 years I worked as an implementation specialist for their healthcare software. My work allowed me to travel all across the country (from Rochester, NY to Tacoma, WA) and even across the world (Netherlands, Dubai). During my time at Epic, I realized how fascinated I am with technology and began to learn programming languages, which eventually drove me to take coursework in CS at my alma mater. The work at Epic not only allowed me to discover my passion for technology, it also motivated my pursuit of a legal career. My international endeavors brought me directly into contact with the type of work Intellectual Property lawyers did, and that inspired me to explore the legal career path, and ultimately to attend law school.
In my abundant free time, I love to stay active. I am especially passionate about soccer, a sport I've been playing since I was 4 years old. I also enjoy spending time outdoors - hiking, biking, or rock climbing. And I am avid reader and a musician, but I'm willing to put it all aside for some quality time with my loved ones and my two pups.
